The short item is PVD plating PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating is an advanced surface coating technique that involves depositing thin layers of material onto a substrate using a vacuum environment, resulting in enhanced durability, corrosion resistance. Although Pvd is more durable than liquid plating in normal costume jewellery that turns black, there will be some colour change in Rosegold items due to the process. It will change to an old gold after a while.

Explain the 90 Day Warranty on the item |
Purple Carrot offers a 90-day warranty covering manufacturing defects. If an item breaks or comes loose within the first 30 days after delivery due to manufacturing, it will be repaired or replaced and delivered at Purple Carrot's expense. For incidents occurring after 30 days but within 90 days, repairs are free, but return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Delivery of the item will be on Purple Carrot's account. What happens if I receive a faulty item |
If you receive damaged or defective items without evident courier damage, take photos within 24 hours and email them to shop@purple-carrot.co.za We will investigate and replace it at no cost to you. Claims made after 48 hours won't qualify for a replacement. We will collect the damaged or faulty items. Your replacement item will be dispatched upon receipt of the returned damaged item. |
How to return a Personalised Item |
Personalized items custom-made to your specifications cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged (You have 48 hours to inform us on shop@purple-carrot.co.za with pictures) or if there was an error in the manufacturing process. Should there be a mistake with your item we will fix the problem in some cases do a replacement or collect the item and fix it on our side at no additional cost to you. However, this does not entitle you to a refund, a voucher can be given for the Purple Carrot's online or walk in shop. |

Personalised items include Engraved or cutout items. To request a return send a photo of the jewelry by email to shop@purple-carrot.co.za within 7 days after receiving your item. Do not send items back without prior arranging it with us or an explanation. Returns without prior notice or in unacceptable condition may be refused. Returned items must be in their original condition as when received from the courier/shipping service. Please make sure that you have your contact details and order number in the return parcel as well. Shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted. A refund will be processed within 5 working days Please note that NO sale items will be refunded and will be send a voucher to the amount that you can spend in the Purple Carrot's online shop or walk in store. |
