Purple Carrot is my pride and joy, a jewellery company born and bred in South Africa. It started with a dream: to create high-quality designer jewellery that doesn't punish the people who wear it.
The idea came from my own struggle with severe allergic reactions to the nickel in traditional metals, even my wedding ring. I wanted stainless steel pieces that people like me could actually wear, so when I realised there was no local supplier doing this properly, I started Purple Carrot myself. Our hypoallergenic jewellery is built for the South African climate: it won't tarnish and it won't irritate your skin.
From day one, Purple Carrot has been built on empowerment, family, and fashion. My mission is simple: give South Africans jewellery that lasts, at a price that makes sense.
Our team hand-finishes a wide range of modern, on-trend pieces: necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, bangles, keychains, and leather goods like wallets and handbags.
