Every ribbon colour in this range, Alzheimer's purple, MS orange, Diabetes blue, Cancer pink, and the plain Purple earring option, is applied using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) plating on stainless steel. This is a far more durable process than the plating used on standard costume jewellery and resists fading well under everyday wear. With that said, PVD colours can very gradually soften in tone over time, influenced by factors like your skin's acidity. Importantly, none of our colours will rust, tarnish, or leave any blue or green discolouration on your skin. Please note that colour may differ slightly from how it appears on your screen, due to varying monitor settings. |
